描述信息: LL Agip77 (2025) pays respect to the iconic brand identity of Agip, Italy’s national Oil and Fuel retailer, which relied on a custom rendering of Akzidenz-Grotesk (Design: Salvatore Gregorietti and Franco Gaffuri at Unimark, 1971). It is the third font in a series of design exercises playfully reflecting on the DNA of Lineto’s neo-grotesk superfamily, LL Unica77, which synthesises the various advantages of the three major grotesks that came to define 20th century type: Helvetica, Univers, and Akzidenz Grotesk.Drawn by Anatole Couteau at Lineto, it exposes the Unica77 Black cut to the same treatment that Gaffuri employed for the creation of his Agip typeface. Since Unimark’s typeface needed to work on both very large signs or billboards and on much smaller branded products and printed matter, the font was designed in varying drawings. Agip77 reproduces this formal trait by introducing an inline of variable thickness as well as automatic spacing, which effortlessly sets the font in the right way at any size.
