- Altesse Std, designed by Jean Francois Porchez in 2011-2021, is a French batarde, more often called Anglaise, influenced by the masters of copperplate engraving of the 19th and 20th century. Altesse is draw in various optical sizes featuring different contrast and x-height. Freed from the contraints of metal type, Altesse allows you to rediscover the pleasure of automated calligraphy through its many numerous OpenType features. 288 glyphs including latin support, a few ligatures, alternates, ornaments.
