描述信息: The Applied Sans typeface family is a 21st century reimaging of early 20th century grotesques some of the first sans serifs to be widely used in print production. Initially popular in headlines and ads, and admired for their neutrality and simplicity, these early grotesques stood out for their design idiosyncrasies, such as somewhat awkward curves and squarish contours. These, however, served to infuse a handmade essence into the designs. The Applied Sans design takes these eccentricities, and melds them with modern design consistency and a large systematic weight range. Applied Sans also benefits from a rich character set of additional figures, ligatures and a wide range of glyphs supporting most Western European and many Eastern European languages. The design takes the first popular fonts of handset sans serif type and gives them new life as powerful and versatile 21st century digital communication tools.
