- The typeface Azuree was developed by the Bauersche Giesserei and first cut in 1908. It was a capitals only typeface, especially thought for printing of name cards, wedding and birth announcements, invitations, menucards, titling, headlines, initials and logos. Because of its popularity, the same typeface was released by Ludwig & Mayer in 1936, under the name Allright.In 2006, Novatype has completely redrawn the typeface to make it fit for digital font production. Many extra characters have been added and complete support for extended character sets (Eastern European, Baltic and Turkish) now is available too.Azuree ND is the first digital typeface of it's kind to combine such a large variety of supported writing systems.
