- Normal Grotesk FSL is the digital re-issue of a sans-serif type family by the Haas foundry in M?nchenstein near Basel. Originally developed at the Leipzig punchcutting firm Wagner & Schmidt between 1908 and 1918, Haas expanded their version (called Accidenz-Grotesk) by a normal weight in 1943. Normal Grotesk is a revision made in 1953, eliminating some Art Nouveau remnants in the letterforms.Font engineering and mastering by Alphabet Type GmbH
