There are even alternative OpenType designs that ensure tight but non-touching spacing, maintaining high levels of legibility in even the most condensed and dramatic of weights.Based on a small family of hand-set metal type dating back to the 1930s, Placard Next is not an aloof or precise design. This is a typeface with personality! Dramatically tapered diagonal strokes, round tittles, heroic x-heights and minimalist crossbars, make for a design that is both warm and commanding. A large multi-lingual character set also guarantees that Placard Nexts voice can be heard in a variety of languages.
