- “Radium FG” is a digitisation of the Art Nouveau hot-metal font “Radium” published in 1905 by the German typefoundry Ludwig & Mayer.It became popular in the 1970s when Hubertus Carl “Hace” Frey reworked the bold weight of Radius under the new name “Charleston”. It was used chiefly as a display typeface on book and musical album covers.Radium FG has, like the original “Radium”, both a regular and a bold weight. I added latin characters for most Western and Eastern European languages.There is also a bold extended version under the name of “Lutherkirche FG”.
